Even though this happened a couple of days ago, we had to write one more article wrapping up the Tennis season!

The good news: Janko Tipsarevic made it to the finals at the Kremlin Cup! The Bad News: He lost to Mikhail Youzhny. Janko Tipsarevic took the first set 7-6, but Mikhail Youzhny rallied hard on the second set taking it 6-0 and then locking up the title 6-4 on the decisive third set.

“I am disappointed,” Tipsarevic said. “I played good, but not good enough. Misha played better and fully deserved to win.” Gracious to the end. That’s true sportsmanship!

You did great Janko! This was Janko Tipsarevic’s first tour final, and we fully expect to see him in many more in the seasons to come!!

In related news, Jelena Jankovic was eliminated in the WTA finals in Doha, Qatar this week. We know you’ll be back in full force next year, Jelena!
