No fries on Sharon Osbourne as she clears tables in burger bar with a smile on Celebrity Apprentice

Sharon Osbourne is renowned for her fiery temper. So how will she fare waiting on tables in a burger bar?

The America’s Got Talent judge had to serve customers and collect their rubbish for a task on the US Celebrity Apprentice.

At one point, the 57-year-old seemed to be taken by a surprise comment by one of the customers as she cleared away food.

But Osbourne, who helped create the day’s menu at a branch of Burger Heaven on 63rd Street in New York, recovered to see out the day in good humour.

She even exchanged smiles with a couple of the diners over the burger wrappers and empty boxes of fries.

It’s certainly a steep learning curve for her and fellow contestant Cyndi Lauper, who are both used to fine dining and attentive waiter service.

Two members from a rival team were at another branch, where both were hoping to bring in the most amount of cash.

The Girls Just Wanna Have Fun singer appeared to be trying to bring in more customers by standing in the street but actually looked a little scary in her mini skirt, over-the-knee boots and frilly apron.

Sharon, however, was more casually dressed in black trousers, top and cardigan with a long beaded necklace.

Neither looked thrilled to be doing the task, but Cyndi, 56, who looked like a waitress from the 1950s, seemed to throw herself into it.

She was seen attempting to clear tables and attentively taking orders.

The show is hosted by business magnate Donald Trump, America’s answer to Sir Alan Sugar.

Last year, Osbourne’s fellow judging friend Piers Morgan won the show, securing $250,000 for the charity Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund.

This year, they are raising money for the American Diabetes Association.
