Fashionistas tried out the toughest runway trends at the launch of Nars 15X15 at Industria Superstudio in New York on Thursday night.  Style icon Daphne Guinness boldly went where only Lady Gaga (in her new video) has gone before, hoofing it in Alexander McQueen’s “Armadillo” heels.

Daphne Guinness startled even the fashionistas wearing completely clad in Alexander McQueen Spring 2010 duds. The style icon is the first person spotted off the catwalk to trot in the hoof-like 10-inch Stilettos debuted during Paris Fashion Week.

Her Edwardian style McQueen aqua hued bubble dress featured a metallically adorned, high neck. Her signature streak was pulled into a bun, and her eyes were dramatically smoked.

Singing sensation Cassie was dressed to kill, wearing Rodarte Fall 2009 thigh high boots with a cutout mini dress.Cassie’s partially shaved head allowed her to show off fear-instilling spiked hoop earrings.

Amber Valletta got glam in dark teal RM by Roland Mouret Lombarde gown and Python platform heels.
